Litigation Associate Attorney - Employment Law

Join a prestigious law firm in California as a Litigation Associate Attorney specializing in employment law. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to handle significant wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases, providing essential legal services in a collaborative and supportive environment. With offices in Irvine, San Diego, and San Francisco, the position features a hybrid work model, promoting a balanced work-life with substantial professional growth under experienced leadership.

Compensation:

$220,000.00 - $260,000.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Directly manage California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.

Oversee all stages of litigation including drafting initial pleadings, handling motions, and responding to discovery.

Take and defend depositions, showcasing strong advocacy and communication skills.

Collaborate effectively with a team while also having the ability to work independently on fast-paced and complex projects.

Contribute to the firm’s reputation by maintaining high standards of professional conduct and participating in professional development activities.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in employment litigation.

Proven track record in managing wage and hour litigation, with substantial experience in class/collective action lawsuits.

Must be admitted to practice in California.

Demonstrates excellent academic credentials, and possesses strong analytical and writing skills.

Capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a top-tier law firm or specialized boutique is highly valued.

Additional certifications in employment law or related fields.

Experience mentoring junior attorneys or leading case teams.

Skills:

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Highly skilled in litigation and legal strategy development.

Strong leadership abilities and project management skills.

Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop creative solutions.

Technical proficiency with legal research tools and software.
