We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney specialized in Employment Law to join our team in either Irvine, San Diego, or San Francisco. This role involves handling complex litigation cases, particularly California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases. Compensation:

$220,000.00 - $260,000.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle intricate California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases from initial pleadings through to resolution.

Manage full spectrum of case work up, including drafting and responding to discovery, filing initial pleadings, and preparing motions and other court submissions.

Take and defend depositions, showcasing strong advocacy and communication skills.

Collaborate with legal team members on case strategy and development.

Maintain high standards of legal work and compliance with all court rules and ethical guidelines.

Work independently on fast-paced projects, demonstrating superior time management and prioritization skills.

Engage in professional development opportunities under the guidance of experienced partners and through continuous learning and legal practice.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of direct employment litigation experience.

Proven track record in wage and hour litigation, including experience with class and collective actions.

Must be admitted to practice in California.

Exceptional academic credentials and proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

Adept at handling multiple complex legal projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong self-motivation with the ability to operate independently and also collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading a team or managing a major component of class action litigation preferred.

Advanced skills in legal writing, research, and communication as evidenced by prior work or academic experience.

Familiarity with the latest tools and technologies used in legal practice and litigation management.

Experience with remote depositions and virtual court appearances.

A history of engaging in pro-bono work and community service activities.

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Robust analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to work under pressure.

Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software.
