We're searching for an IT professional to join our Technology Services team of professionals with varying specialties and levels of experience. We are a full-service IT provider; the pace is quick, and the work is challenging but often fun.
The professional in this role will be responsible for providing timely, reliable, and courteous service to our clients while performing direct help desk support, proactive maintenance, project support, and general business technology consulting and advisory services. The successful candidate will have an aptitude for diagnosing and resolving problems while having solid communication skills and a passion for excellence. He or she will be excited to learn new technologies and embrace continuing education as a core requirement (including maintaining a minimum certification level).

Work with the Technology Services team to provide relevant and effective solutions to our internal and external clients.Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or systems needs/issues.Answer calls, emails, and support inquiries professionally and promptly.Use discretion and independent judgment to investigate, troubleshoot, replicate, and resolve user issues.Work with external solutions providers as required to resolve client problems.Perform installs, moves, adds and changes of PC equipment and peripherals.Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure within the firm's ticket system.Research hardware, software, and other related equipment based on client and user needs.Perform new hire user and technology setup.Collaborate with technology teams and other departments.Complete IT related projects and business tasks.Work independently with little supervision.Travel to client locations as needed.Participate in on call rotation.What you'll bring to the table:
Associate's degree in computer science or related program (additional work experience or certifications may be substituted for degree).Technical certifications: Microsoft preferred.At least 3 years of computer troubleshooting/IT helpdesk experience, including diagnosing hardware and software problems.Strong familiarity with installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, Windows OS, hardware, and networks to provide advanced support to resolve challenging infrastructure, OS, and software issues.Operational understanding of web technologies, command line tools and scripting (Office 365, Azure, AWS, PowerShell, etc.).Familiarity with Windows Domain management (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP, etc.).Very strong professional written and verbal skills.Strong internet research skills to find technical solutions/products.Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical business leaders.Work efficiently within a high-paced changing environment.Ability to work under tight deadlines.Must have a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle.Why you'll love it at James Moore Advisory:
