Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous
Senior Accounting Manager
to oversee and optimize our financial reporting systems and procedures. In this role, you will ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting while upholding stringent internal controls to safeguard our company's assets. You'll collaborate extensively with auditors, management, and other departments to achieve our shared objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:Coordinate monthly financial closings, conduct spending variance analysis, and ensure timely financial statement completion.Manage general ledger account reconciliation process and analyze spending variances for accuracy, making necessary corrections.Assist in preparing annual Year-End reports and supervise assigned direct reports.Develop strategies for minimizing B & O tax, property tax, and sales tax, including collaboration with qualified consultants.Maintain daily sales reports and reconcile month-end cost of sales.Collaborate closely with auditors to explain accounting procedures and facilitate annual audits.Ensure accuracy of financial data management systems for informed decision-making.Support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for manufacturing costs, inventory, budgets, and capital.Coordinate annual plan preparation, including creating Excel cost center worksheets.Develop and maintain relevant policies, Risk Control Matrix (RCM's), and GAAP procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance5+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably in global manufacturingExtensive experience in general accounting software. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a team.Demonstrated career growth and experience in manufacturing.Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience in SEC reporting, tax, and audit matters for manufacturing companies.Why join Key Technology?
