The IT Director provides strategic leadership for the technical design of networks, core infrastructure, and cloud-based services. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring that network, infrastructure, and systems run smoothly and securely. The IT Director develops and implements IT policies and procedures to support the businesss needs and leads various IT projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets. Additionally, the IT Director collaborates with other departments to resolve technical issues and improve processes, manages IT staff including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, and ensures data security and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role also involves managing IT infrastructure budgets, optimizing costs, recommending upgrades and innovations to enhance business performance, monitoring industry trends and technological advancements to keep the company competitive, and developing and managing relationships with vendors and cloud providers.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands on experience in configuration and ongoing management of Network equipment and protocols including Meraki firewalls, SDWAN, switches, wireless access points, cloud and client VPNs, circuitsHands on experience in setup and administration of physical servers, databases, VMWare, cloud VMs, active directory, Azure AD/ENTRA Id, AWS storage gateway, domain controllersHands on experience in configuration and administration of Office 365 including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Edge, and OneDriveExperience in administration and management of a 3rd party help desk system based on ITIL methodologyExperience in IT asset lifecycle managementExperience in administration and management of 3rd party VOIP system, Webex calling a plusHands on experience in configuration and administration of an end user computer and server patching system, Action 1 a plusHands on experience in configuration and administration of backup and recovery system using AzureHands on experience in configuration and administration of an endpoint anti-virus software. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
