TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Montgomery, Alabama, 36116 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Staff Float Pool ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 pm, 12-hour Nights - 36 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years with Cerner or EPIC experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with Cerner or EPIC - Strong critical care skills including vent care, hemodynamic monitoring, and medication titrations Job Description: - Work in a dynamic ICU float pool covering multiple specialized units such as General Cardiac ICU, CVICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, and Surgical ICU - Patient ratios are 1:2 in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting - Perform tasks including vent management, arterial line care, medication titration, and more - Participate in a supportive team environment with available resources such as CNAs, phlebotomy, and IV/VA teams - Required to float between similar unit types and provide care to a variety of critically ill patients - Participate in a weekend rotation every other weekend, with the possibility of working back-to-back weekends (though rare) - Work one major and one minor holiday per policy - Orientation includes 24 hours of classroom training and 24 hours on the unit for new or returning travelers Other Notes: - Scrub color is at your discretion - Support includes a charge nurse present each shift and access to hospitalists 26078664EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Facing new challenges regularly builds resilience.
