401k matching ParkingJob DetailsKey Responsibilities and Core Duties: Oversee and manage all aspects of operational accounting, including revenue management, joint interest billing (JIB), and accounts payable, ensuring close coordination with financial accounting. Supervise the preparation and submission of sales and use tax filings. Support the accurate and timely creation of financial reports, statements, and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders. Establish, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Work closely with operations teams, offering financial insights to aid in decision-making for capital investments, cost control, and operational performance improvements. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis tied to operational revenues and expenditures. Review and assess operational financial data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations for enhancements. Act as a primary liaison during internal and external audits, supplying necessary documentation, explanations, and assistance. Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis support as needed for internal teams.Qualifications: 7+ years oil and gas accounting
