Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced Head of Capital Markets to lead our equity fund-raising efforts. This individual will be responsible for securing capital from private equity, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals to fuel our continued growth in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in proven fundraising experience and deep relationships within the investment community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capital Raising: Seek and secure capital from a variety of external sources, including but not limited to institutional investors, private equity firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Financial Modeling & Projections: Collaborate with internal teams to develop financial models and projections that demonstrate the potential returns and value creation of the firm’s investments.
- Deal Structuring: Work closely with the acquisitions and finance teams to structure deals that are attractive to investors while aligning with the firm's overall objectives.
- Market Analysis: Analyze and monitor capital markets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that could impact the firm's capital raising activities.
- Brand Development: Enhance Oak Wood Ventures' reputation and visibility in the capital markets, positioning the firm as a leading investment partner in the real estate sector.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all capital-raising activities comply with relevant regulations and reporting requirements, providing transparency and confidence to investors.
Qualifications:
- Network: Strong relationships with institutions, private equity firms, family offices, and other capital providers.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or real estate finance, with a proven track record of successfully raising capital.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. An MBA or CFA is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of real estate investment, preferred multifamily, RV, and manufactured housing communities.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in financial modeling, deal structuring, and market analysis.
