Your Role

This individual contributor is responsible for assisting the Senior Financial Systems Analyst and the Financial Systems Manager in financial reporting design, development, and maintenance. This role includes working cross-functionally with the Digital business to understand data needs, produce data sets with various reporting tools, assist partners with reporting maintenance issues, execute test plans during project initiatives, build and develop automated tools to solve for business problems, and collaborate with business and technical teams to streamline reporting and business processes.

Your Impact

Develop a deep understanding of the VS&Co Digital Financial data model, including metrics, definitions, and business contextExecute ad-hoc data requests from all areas of the Digital business as well as Omni ChannelWork with the Digital Accounting and Operations team to set up and develop automated processes that best meet the needs of each teamAssist MSI users on the Digital Accounting and Operations with updates, break-fixes, and modifications to existing reportingParticipate in UAT meetings with project teams, and execute test cases and raise issues to ensure the project will work as expected and not have a material impact on financial and operational reportingManage and execute report testing plans (MSI, SCI, Snowflake, JIRA/Confluence) during project cyclesWork with MSI, SCI, Snowflake, and SAP technical teams to resolve data quality issuesProvide reporting support for internal and external audit activitiesWork on entry level coding projects to increase efficiencies and functionality for the Digital Accounting and Operations teamIndependently and proactively research solutions towards continued problem solving and process improvementsManage and update tickets in JIRA relating to work needed for the Digital Accounting and Operations team, ensuring tickets are up-to-date and deadlines are being metShared responsibility in learning the stack of processes that the team supports, and monitor those jobs to ensure all are completed as expectedClick here for benefit details related to this position.

Your Experience

0-3 years of experience in working with financial data and/or big data; including Profit & Loss, Accounting, and high-volume transactional data.Bachelor's Degree required; Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Finance preferredAdvanced Excel skillsProficiency in SQL/database models (can be non-coding tools such as Microsoft Access, Alteryx, etc.)Exposure to programming concepts and/or actual coding experience (professional or personal use) is preferred, ideally in VBA and/or PythonExperience with data warehouses or data lakes preferred, but not requiredExperience with MSI/Tableau preferred, but not requiredExperience with SAP or other Financial Reporting Tool preferred, but not requiredExperience with Order Management Systems preferred, but not requiredExperience with operational and/or financial business systems preferred, but not requiredExcellent communication skills; comfortable working with all levels of leadership and areas of a businessAbility to manage competing priorities effectively and efficientlyDedicated willingness to continually learn new systems, processes, and programming languagesStrong, demonstrated analytical capabilitySkilled in variance analysis and data auditMaintain confidentiality
