Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Software Implementation Specialist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our software technology infrastructure by identifying areas that we can improve our use of present technology, identify technology solutions to improve efficiency, and providing software training to our team members. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technology technical skills, ability to learn new software applications, a keen eye for optimization, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities:Technology Enhancement:Analyze current technology applications to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.Stay abreast of professional service industry technology trends and modern technology applications to implement innovative solutions within the firm.User Training:Evaluate the utilization of various applications within the organization.Develop strategies to optimize software usage and provide hands-on training to team members.Introduce and integrate modern technologies, ensuring a smooth transition for all users.Software Proficiency:Utilize advanced features of applications such as Paycom, Microsoft Office 365, Engagement, FX Tax, Practice Management, Excel, Access, and other Microsoft tools to their maximum potential (aiming for approximately 20% above current usage).Problem Resolution:Address technology-related issues by providing comprehensive solutions and troubleshooting.Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaboration:Collaborate with team members to understand their daily practices and challenges and how we can use technology to address them.Regularly engage with end-users to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.Communication:Possess excellent soft skills for effective training and communication.Act as a liaison between end-users and IT, ensuring a clear understanding of user requirements.Cyber Risk Management:Stay informed about cybersecurity risks and implement measures to mitigate potential threats.Contribute to the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policies.Qualifications
Proven experience in software implementation or a related field.Strong proficiency in Excel, Access, and Microsoft applications.Excellent problem-solving skills with a curious and proactive mindset.Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.Great project management skills.Familiar with software applications such as Paycom, Engagement, FX Tax, and Practice Management is a plus.Previous experience in a help desk or support role is a plus.Previous experience in accounting or financial services is a plus.
