This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who flourishes in an interesting, fast paced, growing, and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing and coordinating administrative assistance to faculty, students, and staff of the department.Core Responsibilities Include:
Prepare the supporting documentation for student appointments in Workday.Student initiator in the Workday system. Approves student timecards.Works with seminar speakers and manage travel arrangements if needed.Organizes small department events and aids in larger planning events as needed.Works with student visitors and assists with visas if needed.Handles the payment of student awardsPerforms general administrative tasks as needed for the department.Serve as back up for scheduling TA office hours/room reservationsQualifications:
High School/GED required; associate degree preferred3-5 years administrative support and data entry/word processing experience requiredMicrosoft Office and Google applications experience preferred.Experience with Workday or related HRIS systems highly desiredExcellent communication, organizational and time management skills.Ability to work with individuals at all levels, and able to work with different departments (Human Resources, Payroll, OIE, etc.) to resolve issues.Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet inflexible deadlines, and handle confidential informationFlexibility, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within the Dietrich College.
