They will be skilled in using industry best practices and strategies, developing manual and/or automated test solutions for internal and external-facing applications. As a QA professional you will support and contribute to the design and creation of manual and/or automated tests for internal and external facing applications to validate the system is performing as defined in the business requirements and technical specifications. You will execute tests and test suites to support continuous integration, report on testing results and create and/or maintain relevant documentation. This role requires you are able to apply Leave and Care Division (LCD) Technology QA strategies, frameworks and best practices as assigned by the Application Quality Assurance Supervisor and the Principal Engineer for Quality Assurance to ensure the release of high quality, maintainable and extensible applications. This is a full-time project position anticipated to last through June 30, 2026. Duties As the Quality Assurance Tester for LCD you will provide confidence for making changes in applications by executing repeatable, reliable tests that discover issues early in the application development lifecycle. Ensuring that the applications are of high quality so that internal and external users aren't impacted when application changes are deployed. Additionally, you will provide QA Testing services such as: Using industry best practices and strategies, execute automated and non-automated test cases for internal and external facing applications. Qualifications Required: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical/business discipline and two (2) or more years of demonstrated IT experience with analysis, testing, quality assurance, maintaining software applications, implementing software development projects, including exposure to testing in an Agile environment using testing and release management tools. OR Equivalent years of professional experience in an information technology field analyzing, testing, and/or maintaining software applications, or implementing software development projects and including testing experience in an Agile environment using testing and release management tools. Experience may include Software Quality Assurance, Development and/or Programming experience including (but not limited to): Software testing using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner. Object-oriented programming such as C#. Data language such SQL. Scripting languages such as JavaScript, Powershell Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Visual Studio. Cloud infrastructure, applications and APIs (including SaaS, PaaS and/or IaaS models). Application Lifecycle Management Tools such as Azure DevOps, etc. Desired: Certification(s) in software testing techniques, methodologies and/or tools such as from ASQ or ISTQB including: Certified Tester Foundation Level Technical Test Analyst Agile Tester Certified Quality Engineer Experience with using industry standard tools for creating, managing, and running tests (such as Azure DevOps, TFS). Experience using testing frameworks to automate and execute tests (such as Selenium). Experience analyzing and testing MS Dynamics systems and components including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and/or finance and Supply Chain Management (F&SCM).
