Job Description

As the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Consultant, you will guide Clients on the technical aspects of SAP S/4HANA digital transformation journey.

You will leverage your prior experiences, creativity, and problem-solving complex business problems by planning. designing and delivering the greatest business value to the customer.

This role requires deep knowledge and understanding of one or several service components of SAP BTP technical & functional capabilities, including industry best practices (Chemical Industry) and overall understanding of MM functionality.

You will help enable the SAP Practice through knowledge sharing initiatives (Onshore & Offshore).

Using your know-how, creativity, and analytical powers to solve clients' most complex business problems some of your key responsibilities are as follows:Support our clients with any technology related to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) with thorough understanding of the latest SAP BTP services for database, application development, and integration solutions.Identify, assess, and solve complex SAP technology problems with components of BTP, around SAP Extension Suite, SAP HANA Cloud, Event Mesh, SAP integration suite, SAP Analytics Cloud.Develop analysis of technology architecture design in coordination with designers, architects, developers, and business analystsSAP ABAP 7.4 & 7.5 syntax knowledge is needed.Debugging current ECC solution and arrive at solution in S4.Experience handling complex process automation, HANA data modeling and development (XSJS).Expertise in SAP HANA Cloud programming is required.Design data extraction strategies and process orchestration from S/4 HANACollaborate with functional teams to streamline S/4HANA-Purchasing and Invoicing data flows.Optimize workflows and ensure scalability.Manages small-medium sized teams and/or work efforts at a client.S/4 HANA Troubleshooting, system communication and performance issuesOverall 10+ years of proven SAP technical/development implementation experience with a minimum of 5+ years in the SAP Business Technology Platform (formerly SAP Cloud Platform)Certified SAP Business Technology Platform Consultant/Architect (Required)Technical architecture experience with hyperscaler cloud solutions and SAP platform solutions like BTP Integration Suite, Business Application Studio, HANA cloud databases, and analytics cloud solutions, etc.Ability to understand the functional design prepare technical documents and implement BTP solutions which include implementation of highly scalable systems, release management, software configuration, design, development, integration, and execution.Deep understanding of BTP core services and solutions such as data management, analytics, artificial intelligence, application development, extension, integration, and automationClear understanding of various SAP BTP environments (Neo, Cloud Foundry, and Kyma) and their corresponding servicesGood understanding of BTP Security Authentication & Authorization Provisioning.Experience using the tools and programming models and APIs such as cloud connector, CLI for CloudFoundry, BTP SDL, GIT, Node.js, Python, SAPUI5, Java, etc.Exposure to traditional SAP Line of Business solutions like SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud/4 Customers, Ariba, Concur, Success Factor and Qualtrics , etc. for integration, extension, and analytics scenariosExperience working in DevOps teams, utilizing agile tools like JiraPositive attitude and proactive nature to work with Cross-Teams.Working knowledge of agile and waterfall development methodologies.Self-motivated, strong interpersonal, Effective communication, and presentation skills.Certification:

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $111,200.00 to $155,680.00 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
