Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Job Specialty: Emergency Room Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Current license to practice as a registered nurse Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (ACLS/PALS) may be required Must-Have: - Knowledge of nursing process and practice- Ability to use a variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies- Ability to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) responsibly Job Description: - Provide safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process - Implement effective relationship-based nursing care - Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that ensure safe practice and positive care outcomes - Exhibit clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical outcomes - Develop self and contribute to the professional practice of nursing Unit Description: - 22-bed unit with a Supertrack area servicing both adults and pediatric patients - Level 3 Trauma Center - Stroke and Chest Pain Center - Certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred
