The StaffingNation team is a dedicated group of software engineers, QA, Product, DevOps and Implementation Analysts that work in an agile environment. We are seeking an attentive, detail-oriented, self-motivated
Senior
QA Engineer
to join our energetic team! The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with our development/QA team to triage and resolve issues and explore updates, modifications, and ideas. The ideal candidate should look for and drive best practices and tools to strive for continuous improvements within the team.
Key Responsibilities•Lead the design and development of comprehensive test plans and cases, integrating continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) best practices.•Review test cases, requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely, actionable feedback.•Define and establish web quality assurance standards, including requirements compliance, load testing, security testing, browser compatibility, and brand content alignment.•Oversee various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and automation testing.•Develop and maintain automation scripts using QA frameworks•Conduct robust API testing using tools like Postman.•Collaborate with stakeholders to create and refine QA acceptance criteria based on project requirements.•Identify and document key quality risk areas while establishing clear QA processes and rationale.•Contribute to project estimations, ensuring all release features meet specified standards.•Maintain a deep working knowledge of software testing methodologies, frameworks, and the full testing life cycle.•Mentor and guide the QA team in applying best practices for testing and product quality.•Adapt and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, balancing multiple projects.•Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including in-house and offshore development/QA groups, to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and explore improvements.
Qualifications & Skills•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.•Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.•Experience in message-queuing environments, storage-based testing, and with JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, and HTML applications.•Proficient with Linux command line, GitHub, PyCharm, Jenkins, Robot Framework, SauceLabs, Katalon, Postman, and open-source QA tools.•Up-to-date with emerging QA trends, technologies, and best practices.•Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to advocate for QA requirements in technical discussions.•Proficient in using collaboration tools like Slack and Outlook for communication and task management.
Salary & Benefits
