The Data Analyst is an internal and external partner for data management, analysis, business intelligence, and communication. Leveraging deep understanding of data visualization, ETL processes, and data integrity, you'll collaborate with Product and Client Success teams to interact with clients to understand their needs and build solutions leveraging our business intelligence tool. You'll own data warehouse accuracy and integrity, reporting, visualizations, and dashboards.

Managing our data warehouse for initial and ongoing health and integrity including resolving data discrepancies, performing data cleansing, and ensuring data consistency.Creating, publishing, and continually optimizing reports, visualizations, and dashboards in Domo.Investigating client needs and creating solutions to meet and exceed those needs.Developing and administering processes to maintain appropriate data sources, such as Domo.Applying ETL and business intelligence best practices, including training and support to end users for data utilization.Navigating relationships with internal and external stakeholders to bring the right tools to life at the right time and for the right purpose.Being conversant in how data is transformed and loaded from production applications to our data lake, then querying using Trino and PostgreSQL in AWS Athena.Staying current with Domo platform updates, features, enhancements, and fixing issues.We are looking for someone with:
At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence.Education or training in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.Proficiency with querying languages, especially SQL.Demonstrated ability to apply mathematical and statistical concepts to create aggregate reports and data visualizations, using sound principles and tools.Experiences with ETL processes, data flows, data warehouses, and troubleshooting such tools and processes.Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar including formulas and pivot tables.Ability to to diagnose and fix data-related issues applying strong problem-solving skills.Communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to explain technical concepts, understand their needs, and create relevant technical solutions.Experience using Domo, PostgreSQL, DataGrip, AWS Athena, and/or Trino; and working with API integrations.Knowledge and experience working with data governance and data quality best practices.Experience using Domo, PostgreSQL, DataGrip, AWS Athena, and/or Trino; and working with API integrations is beneficial.Experiences working with cross functional teams, particularly Product, Client Success, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams is beneficial.Experiences with data munging, statistical modeling, machine learning, and charting using Python, pandas, scikit-learn and other data analysis libraries is beneficial.Experience with Agile development methodologies, git, and Github is beneficial.
This role is remote and ideally located near the Madison, WI or Milwaukee, WI area to enable occasional in-person collaboration opportunities. Relocation support is not available.
