Job Summary: Eastern Washington University is seeking a Technology and Public Works Contract Administrator. This position reports to the Director of Procurement & Contracts. • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement of all of EWU's information technology (IT) (preparing and managing formal and informal solicitations, analyzing bids, negotiating agreements, addressing contract issues, and monitoring vendor contract compliance) in collaboration with the department of Information Technology. This includes IT software and hardware purchases. • The candidate will also prepare complex design consultant agreements, construction contracts, and interagency agreements for public works and energy conservation projects in collaboration with the department of Facilities & Planning. They will lead the competitive bidding process including preparing and posting bids, coordinating pre-bid meetings and openings, and performing administrative tasks associated with public works and consultant agreements. • The position will supervise two Contract Specialist II positions, who are responsible for a wide-variety of tasks involved in the procurement of goods and services, as well as formal bidding processes. • The salary for this position is $91,284 (minimum) up to $115,000. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
