This role offers flexibility with a #Hybrid schedule, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.
Acosta markets: Brea, CA; Boise, ID; Bentonville, AR; Jacksonville, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Denver, CO are preferred. Other locations will be considered
As an integral part of the team, you will
create category-centric selling stories , provide
analytical support
to answer business questions, or understand the impact of
category management -driven decisions on the business.
You
will also manage multiple requests, projects, and reporting routines by taking a
proactive
approach to thought leadership with the client.
Responsibilities
Analyze data
to develop
insights-based analysis, trends, and shopper behaviors
leading to recommendations to achieve client's KPI's and initiativesProvide analytical support for category management analytics and projectsParticipate in the
category review process
working with other cross-functional teams to provide complete category management solutionsIndependently develop and maintain client-specific reporting that
measures performance against strategies
and objectivesWork closely and often with assigned clients and business managers by setting up regular meetings to discuss client needs and upcoming projects as a
trusted advisorBuild
solid sales presentations, dashboards, post promotional analysis,
and
opportunity reports
using
syndicated ,
panel, basket, shopper
and
other sources of data
that provide influential solutions and recommendations to address business issuesMaintain connectivity with clients to ensure understanding of KPIs, innovation, and other important informationAttend monthly sales meetings as needed for each clientMentor lesser experience analystsQualifications
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED minimum; Bachelor's Degree (preferred)Category Management Certification (preferred)Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirementWork Experience Requirements:
3 or more years related work experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
You hold passion for working with
Natural brands
and have willingness to understand the difference between Conventional and Natural brand positioning.Advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications, advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency of Power BI or Power Query would be a strong
assetExperience extracting data and navigating
syndicated data tools
(Circana- IRI, Nielson, SPINS) and/or space management toolsIdentify and leverage relevant data to
diagnose situations and identify potential solutionsEffectively and independently conduct
data mining utilizing CPG math concepts
and toolsCommunicates clearly and effectively while understanding and adapting to the audienceIndependently manage project plans and assume responsibility for tracking, communication and timingRecognize problems and issues and identify the information needed to diagnosePossess intellectual curiosity, creativity, and strong passion for learningDrive to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholdersExecute strategic objectives and provide input as needed to keep priorities on track
