We are looking for a professional HR Generalist to support the Human Resources department. The preferred candidate has 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, Construction industry experience, and is bilingual (not mandatory, but heavily preferred. Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:Unemployment ResponsesI-9 auditsPay changes and Back payEquipment and asset requestsAudit/Verify new hire informationProcess required DOT employment verification post-orientationMaintain drug testing records and Monitor DOT Random Drug TestingCobra RecordingBenefits enrollment for employees (set up new employees/deactivation of exiting employees)Processing of terminationsEnter direct deposit and pay card informationUpdate employee files with personal information changes as neededAnswer HR line callsAct as back-up for all company phone linesAct as back up for assisting walk-in applicants and collecting recruiting paperworkOther duties as assignedRequirements:
Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsHigh attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work in fast-paced, quickly changing environmentsPreferred Qualifications:
3 years' experience working in HRConstruction industry HR experience preferredPrevious experience working with Viewpoint (HRIS)Bilingual (Spanish)PHRBenefits Offered:
