As the Network Administrator, you'll become responsible for system development, implementation, ongoing enhancements and support of the Microsoft Active Directory and other various business applications that enable Derse to operate effectively and competitively. The Network Administrator must reside in our corporate office in Milwaukee, WI. This role interacts with many unique projects in our growing organization! Network Administrator Responsibilities
Implement, monitor, support, and document enterprise network hardware, software, database and communication linksEnsure the security, stability, integrity and efficient operation of all internal and external networksUtilize advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft product lines and Windows specific technologies (e.g. Windows Server, Exchange Server, IIS, SQL Server, etc.) in day-to-day effortsMaintain strong understanding of network technologies, including DHCP, WINS, DNS, DFS, SMTP, etc.Provide administration, support, security, backup and recovery for all system data, email, anti-virus, network infrastructure and databasesManage organizational file and storage systemsParticipate in the design and development of a technology strategies for the company, including the research & development of new technologiesDesign and configure software applications to support various business processesManage technical projects within the scope of the network teamDevelop, implement, and enforce network and security policies and proceduresCreate and maintain network infrastructure documentationProvide technical training and guidance to usersRequirements
Network Administrator Requirements & Qualifications
At minimum, Associate's degree and/or 5 years related experience and training required3 to 5 years experience designing, supporting and managing Enterprise Network InfrastructureExperience in VMware ESX/Virtualization TechnologiesExperience with HP and Dell server hardware platforms
