We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to an Executive Director of a nonprofit that aims to arm individuals in the community with tools to thrive. The ideal candidate will be personable, resourceful, independent, a problem solver, and eager to grow. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically and solve problems. The successful candidate will also be comfortable with some travel and have the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This candidate will be able to management and delegate in the Executive Director's stead.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director/CEO and senior staff, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.

Research:

Conduct research and compile information on various topics as needed, demonstrating strong analytical skills.

Documentation:

Prepare, proofread, and edit documents, reports, and presentations with high attention to detail.

Project Management : Assist in the planning, execution, and management of projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.

Travel Coordination : Arrange travel plans, itineraries, and accommodations for senior staff as required.

Event Planning : Support the organization and coordination of events, meetings, and conferences.

Communication : Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director/CEO and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Office Management : Oversee office operations, including ordering supplies, managing records, and ensuring a tidy work environment.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role.

Skills:

Personable with excellent interpersonal skills.

Resourceful and proactive in problem-solving.

Strong research skills and ability to gather and synthesize information.

Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail.

Excellent reading and writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise documents.

Critical thinker capable of managing ambiguity and making informed decisions.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.

Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally as required by the organization.

Education: Bachelors degree preferred, but not required based on experience.
