The Role
The HR Strategy Director serves as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), driving HR strategy, leveraging people analytics, and leading transformative HR initiatives.
This role is pivotal in shaping the organization's future by optimizing talent, enhancing employee experience, and aligning HR strategy with overall business objectives.
This role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about people and has a deep understanding of the HR function. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can execute HR transformation and deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the organization's business goals.
- Stay abreast of external trends and internal business conditions to deliver an HR roadmap to drive business impact and enhance the effectiveness of the HR function.
- Partner with HRBPs on workforce planning and analysis to anticipate future talent needs and develop strategies to meet them.
- Provide strategic and operational support to the CHRO.
- Manage HRLT staff meetings, strategic planning, and department budget - leveraging external data and perspectives that drive best-in-class solutions.
- Oversee special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Serve as liaison to IT Operations and help manage ERRM scorecards.
- Lead the implementation of people analytics capabilities to derive business value and enhance overall talent decisions.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform HR decisions, measure effectiveness, and identify trends.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track HR performance and business impact.
- Oversee the planning and execution of strategic HR projects and initiatives.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Further embed project management best practices across the HR function to bolster project management capabilities.
- Accountable for effective communication strategies that engage employees and deepen understanding of enterprise strategy and goals.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for all employee kick-off meetings and town halls; accountable for bringing the CCC EVP and internal brand to life.
- Collaborate closely with HR COEs and IT partners to deliver the HR tech roadmap.
- Evaluate and implement HR technology solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on HR technology trends and best practices.
- Ensure data integrity and security across HR systems.
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex business issues.
- Proven track record in developing and executing HR strategies.
- Expertise in people analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
