Description
Senior Process Quality Engineer:
- Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze production processes using statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
- Develop and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and R&D, to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure that products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements through thorough quality testing and validation.
- Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production teams for troubleshooting and optimizing processes.
- Lead training programs for staff to enhance understanding of quality standards and best practices.
- Report on key quality metrics and present findings to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Profile
Senior Process Quality Engineer:
- B.S. in Engineering
- Proven experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or polymer production.
- Strong expertise in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), particularly ISO 9001 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage quality projects from concept to execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams across the organization.
- Technical proficiency in quality testing methods, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on process optimization and operational excellence.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices for quality assurance.
