Technical Project Manager, 3D Printing Manufacturing Aids & Tool

Description:
This profile will require the identified candidate to lead 3D Printing Manufacturing Aid & Tooling project team. The person will be responsible to work with different customer business units to create project pipeline and lead onsite team to execute it. The person should have knowledge of metal and polymer materials and manufacturing processes. He/she should be familiar with designing and manufacturing of tooling/fixturing and manufacturing aids. He/she should also have in-depth knowledge of metal and polymer 3D Printing process and design for additive manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
• Organize deep-dive, brainstorming and site assessment sessions with the manufacturing sites & design centers
• Work towards financial commitment for the Tooling Vertical.
• Collaborate with existing our client's team across various customer sites on need basis for coordination of critical projects
• Explore new opportunities in tooling, fixture, safety related parts and spare parts
• Interaction with business team for project inputs and deliverables Create roadmap and maintain tooling pipeline
• Lead execution of the roadmap
• Knowledge & Design transfer
• Overall program management includes ongoing meetings with various sites, project tracking & monitoring for Tooling Vertical
• Suggest and implement design improvement initiatives
• Prepare and maintain detailed project tracker for customer review.
Qualifications:
Must have qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in both metal and polymer manufacturing.
• A minimum of 1 year of additive manufacturing (3D Printing) experience in both metal and polymer materials.
• A minimum of 1-year Project Management experience and/or leading technical projects
• Tooling & Fixturing design and manufacturing experience
• Assembly process development experience
• Project management & team management
• Ability to lead and execute multiple programs across sectors in Matrix environment
• Knowledge of Process Excellence (Lean, Six Sigma) and Risk Analysis tools/methodologies preferred
• Experienced in Designing for 3D Printing
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of CAD software (NX or Solidworks)
• Experience with medical device industry.
