We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated IT Installation Technician to join our dynamic IT team. As an IT Installation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation and maintenance of various IT systems within our hospital network.Responsibilities:Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems, including desktop computers, printers, servers, and network devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.Network Setup: Assist in the setup and configuration of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points, to facilitate seamless connectivity and communication across the hospital system.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner, providing technical support to end-users and collaborating with other IT team members when necessary.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, configurations, and installation procedures. Create detailed documentation and manuals for end-users and colleagues.Collaboration: Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to identify technology needs, provide recommendations, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.Security: Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard hospital data and IT systems. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices to ensure the hospital's IT infrastructure remains protected.Training: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using various software applications and IT equipment, thus maximizing the benefits of the technology implemented.Upgrades and Maintenance: Assist in the planning and execution of IT system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical degree is a plus.Proven experience in IT installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network technologies.Familiarity with healthcare-specific software applications and systems is advantageous.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and colleagues.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
