Responsibilities:The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for administering the admission procedures by collecting, organizing, and providing information as well as being an effective resource to the clients families, ensuring a smooth and organized admissions process. As other roles assess for clinical appropriateness, assign diagnoses, collect clinical information from clients, and document the clients medical record after admission to the program, this position focuses on being a resource to the family introducing them to the programs offered.
Essential Duties:Accurately translate throughout the admissions process, as needed for visitors, clients, and their families.Answer general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner; speak intelligibly and accurately about our program and services offered.Facilitate engaging, comforting, and supportive processing through the admissions process.Confidently act as a liaison and resource throughout the admissions process for clients and their families. Including coordinating internal admissions communications.Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner to keep electronic records up to date. Including data entry requirements regarding conversations/interactions with families and providers.Maintain a high level of organization, adapting to changing priorities throughout the day, providing excellent customer service internally and externally.Conduct life-cycle Admissions process.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
