HR Generalist/Recruiter

Provost & Pritchard, a leading Central Valley consultant group specializing in civil engineering, planning, hydro-geological, environmental, construction, and surveying services in multiple disciplines, is looking for someone to join our Human Resources team! We are a well-established, growth-oriented firm and are looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual to be part of our team.Working under general supervision of the HR Director, this position will be involved in a variety of Human Resources tasks with the main focus on recruiting. Youll have the opportunity to own the recruitment process by helping streamline and standardize.Typical duties may include :80% Recruiting Building relationships with hiring managers, sourcing, managing job boards and postings, building relationships with universities and organizations for recruiting opportunities, screening and interviewing candidates, providing valuable feedback to hiring teams on candidates and recruitment best practices, conducting reference and background checks, negotiating offers and onboarding prep. Will travel 15-20% of the time for career fairs during Fall and Spring.20% General HR Training and development initiatives, benefits and leave administration, and other projects throughout the year.QualificationsBachelors degree in Human Resources or related field3+ years experience in an HR position with at least 1 year of experience with recruiting. Additional experience may be substituted for formal education.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite & Office 365)Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, candidates, and the public.Proven attention to detailProcess improvement and proactive mindset is highly desirable
