Solomon Page has partnered with a well known, investment banking company who is seeking a skilled candidate to join as Operational Support for their team. This role is a 12-month contract and will be onsite in their Jersey City office. The perfect candidate will have banking experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills, along with a high attention for detail. This role will be responsible to make sure all withholding and reporting obligations of the Firm are met.
Pay Range: $19-23.71/hr (based on experience)Responsibilities:
Ensure all tax reporting (e.g., 1099, 1042-S) and filings are accurate and done on time for clients.Help plan and track all necessary tax tasks throughout the year.Test and review tax forms to ensure they are accurate before issuing.Handle special client requests, like tax form amendments, and audit completed forms.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree requiredMust have strong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work under a deadline-driven environmentProficiency in Excel & Word requiredStrong communication skills, verbal and written required
