Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst/Developer to join our team. This role will focus on supporting and developing integrations between enterprise systems, with a strong emphasis on ERP platforms, middleware solutions, custom applications, reporting, and analytics. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing business systems, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless data flow between various platforms.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system improvements and integrations.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and create detailed specifications.
- Recommend and implement solutions to optimize financial, ERP, and other business-critical integrated systems using recognized process improvement methodologies.
- Design, develop, implement and support middleware solutions to integrate financial and ERP systems with other business-critical platforms.
- Develop, implement, and support business intelligence tools and reporting systems to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Perform technical development tasks, including writing and optimizing code in modern programming languages to support custom applications, system integrations, and automation efforts.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system integrations, web applications, custom applications and reporting tools. Monitor system performance and resolve issues as they arise.
- Ensure data integrity across multiple systems, ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards.
- Support end-users by providing system documentation, conducting training, and resolving technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to plan, develop, and implement system enhancements or new solutions.
SKILLS
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
- Strong hands-on experience with middleware platforms for ERP system integration.
- Proficient in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, .NET, IBM RPG, IBM DB2, etc.).
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL for querying and reporting purposes.
- Working knowledge of command-line scripting in Windows, Linux/Unix, and IBM environments.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of technical experience with a focus on ERP Systems, Business Systems, and integrations.
