We are a seeking an ambitious, friendly, positive, and compassionate Infusion RN to join our Infusion Team at our team.

The Infusion Registered Nurse is the clinical assistant to the providers. The Infusion RN will work alongside the Infusion MA and providers in the Infusion suites to assist AARA's Infusion patients. The role of an Infusion Registered Nurse within AARA is to work closely with the Infusion MA greeting patients, taking vitals and weight, answering patient questions, and preparing them to be seen by the Physician, APC, and Infusion RN for their IV infusion.

RESPONSIBILITIESGreet patients and sign in Infusion patients according to established protocolsAssist Infusion patients to make sure they have the questions answered about the medication they are receiving.Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiriesSchedule / Reschedule Infusion patient appointments, if necessaryAssist with charting and recording infusion vitals/administration/IV's/medicationsPerform verbal pre-infusion questionnaire with patientObtain vitals on patient prior to beginning infusion, during infusion and at discontinuationDraw labs, if neededAdminister injections or IV as requestedAssist with removal/discontinuation of IVMaintain sterile environment at all timesMaintain drug inventory & medical supply stockMaintain schedules and que medication to make sure drug inventory is correctObtain external medical reports as required by medical professionalsRespond and comply to requests for informationEnsure Infusion clinical suite area is well maintained, neat and cleanSafeguard patient privacy and confidentialityOther duties as assigned by management

EssentialAn RN degree from an accredited schoolIV experience in the last 2 yearsRN experience in the last 2 yearsA high-level dedication to excellent patient care, office teamwork, detail and accuracy are requiredMust have good oral and written communication skills, good computer skills, be flexible and dependable, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environmentRheumatology or Oncology experience a plusAbility to build rapport with patientsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
