Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room/Emergency Department Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: AM/PM rotation, 3 x 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ER with level 1 trauma experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state/district Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - Critical care skills including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes- Experience in coordinating and delivering care to patients with complex nursing care needs Job Description: - Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment treating a variety of patients.- Manage emergency care skills and ensure the highest level of safety and quality.- Promote a positive patient experience.- Treat patients ranging from urgent care to critical care/trauma, including psych and pediatric patients.- Coordinate care and deliver comprehensive nursing services to patients with complex needs.- Engage in AM/PM rotational shifts to cover a wide spectrum of care needs.- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Uphold professional standards in accordance with nursing guidelines and protocols. Education: - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required)- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Highly desired) Languages: Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak)
