Our openings include full-time, part-time, and PRN for
Day Shift12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm
Principal Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations, noting time and dosage on the resident's chart.Deliver daily medications as prescribed by the physician to residents; administer medications per the Medication Administration Record (MAR).Verify the identity of residents receiving medication, and document drug names, dosages, and times of administration. Report any missed doses to the nursing supervisor.Present medications to residents, observe ingestion, or administer medication using approved procedures.Document completed tasks daily, and note any changes in residents' conditions following local rules and regulations.Communicate with other Med Techs/Med Aides regarding resident needs for consistent quality care.Assist with meal service, ensure residents are positioned appropriately, and serve and document snacks and hydration as required.Observe residents, record significant conditions or reactions, and notify the Nurse Supervisor or Physician of any changes in condition or reactions to medications.Maintain accurate medication inventories and restock as needed.Assist nurses during treatments and examinations, and check on residents regularly, ensuring timely responses to call lights and following up with care as needed.
