Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Acuity Adaptable Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 18 months, 1 year in telemetry required License: IN or compact license required for start dates 2-4 weeks out; for start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the licensing process Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, ability to titrate cardiac drips, telemetry skills Job Description: - Work in a Progressive Care/Med-Surg unit that specializes in nephrology, wounds, sepsis, and other medical conditions. - All private rooms equipped with overhead lifts and Phillips bedside monitors in every room. - Collaborate within a great team environment and work alongside Patient Care Assistants who support nurses. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4-5. - Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. - Floating is mandatory within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital. - The unit accepts first-time travelers. - Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
