Job SummaryFunctions as the primary manager for the Corewell Health Cost Accounting & Decision Support team. Supervises daily tasks of the Financial Decision Support team, including the development and upkeep of our organization-wide decision support technology platform. Designs and implements standard cost accounting analytics packages for the organization while educating on the principles of cost accounting within Corewell Health. Works together with internal business partners to create standard procedures and making data actionable.Essential Functions+ Provides leadership to the Decision Support / Cost Accounting team.+ Drive standardization and efficiencies in the systemwide Decision Support / Cost Accounting tool and associated operational processes.+ Build relationships with leaders and key partners from across the organization, including regional finance teams, clinical and operational leadership, data & analytics and supply chain.+ Evaluate and deliver various ad hoc reporting requests for all levels of management within the organization (clinical, non-clinical, department, executive and physician level) and present results and/or recommendations either written or orally within timeframes agreed to with customer.+ Develops plans to meet unexpected situations, new developments, and changes in the business environment.+ Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.+ Collaborate with internal business partners to support decision-making objectives and outcomes.+ Selects, trains, develop and evaluates subordinates and initiates personnel actions in accordance with departmental policies and organization philosophy.+ Knowledge and experience working in and building reporting in data visualization software tools.How Corewell Health cares for you+ Comprehensive benefits package to meet your financial, health, and work/life balance goals.
