Kindeva is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to support our Northridge, CA Manufacturing Facility. The Human Resources Director will work in close partnership with the Human Resources Function and Northridge Site Leadership Team to ensure programs and processes delivered are aligned with business strategies and HR priorities. The HR Director will advise and coach leaders while providing leadership on HR related matters associated with staffing, talent/performance management, employee relations, benefits/compensation programs, and diversity/equity/inclusion programs. Through a combination of HR expertise and understanding of company objectives, the HR Director will effectively resolve complex HR opportunities within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.The HR Director must be passionate about achieving organizational goals through collaboration with senior leadership and the execution of strategies. The HR Director will mitigate site/company risks by ensuring that all practices are compliant with government regulations. The HR Director will support the broader HR strategy with a focus on customer service and assure alignment with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, legal, HR, Payroll, Tax, Finance). The HR Director will perform essential functions while demonstrating behaviors aligned with the company’s PRECISE Values (Personal Accountability, Respect, Excellence, Communication, Innovation, Service, & Energy).Job Responsibilities:
Develop policies and procedures, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for Kindeva’s Northridge manufacturing sites.Lead critical engagements across performance management processes, total rewards, market management across salary reviews, and benefits.Responsible for expanding current HR strategic programs such as talent management, annual employee engagement surveys, and rewards & recognition programs.Encourage a workplace environment that values teamwork and fosters collaboration, acknowledge and reward staff contributions, and develop strategies to drive employee engagement.Motivate team performance and professional development, develop skilled managers and mentors, and exercise sound judgment in onboarding and offboarding colleagues.Lead HR Function while managing direct reports to deliver on positive outcomes and behaviors.Respond to and investigate employee complaints and conflicts, working closely with all parties involved.Lead and support cross-functional work streams to drive positive outcomes.Other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years as an HR business partner with experience engaging with site and corporate leadership teams.HR management in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.Proven record of success in developing and maintaining effective working relationships and partnerships with diverse stakeholders.Prior success in creating a solid and effective HR operational platform that is responsive to organizational needs and priorities and delivers superior customer service in a changing and dynamic environment.Solid knowledge of best practices in all HR functions, including employment/labor relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compensation, performance management, learning and development, human resource information systems, and project management.Guidance to internal clients, demonstrating creative problem-solving skills and the ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations and settings.Knowledge of California laws and ability to research and advise on Laws and regulations affecting HR practices in their areas of responsibility.Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
