Job Summary:Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is actively recruiting to fill openings for Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology/Oncology. The PA/NP will work in conjunction with the Hematology/Oncology physician group to see clinic patients and help supervise the infusion suite Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other assignments, projects and duties may be required.Responsibilities will include seeing new and follow-up patients, urgent chemotherapy-related care, infusion reactions, and to assist with triage calls and results, amongst other tasks. There is no weekend call or inpatient coverage.
Experience:PREFERRED: 1-2+ years prior oncology, ER, or ICU experience preferred but minimal or less than 1 year of prior experience to be considered based on skills, aptitude, and prior work experience.
Education:Graduate from an Accredited School of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner studies.
License and Certification:Licensed in the State of Texas.Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.
