Responsibilities & Qualifications

Due to significant growth, we are seeking a

Senior Corporate Accountant

to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in King of Prussia, PA. The Senior Corporate Accountant plays a key role in driving value across the corporate departments. The Senior Corporate Accountant reports to the Director of Corporate Accounting and works closely with the corporate and field accounting teams and the financial, planning & analysis team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing and recording journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, analyzing financial statements, recording cash activity and preparing the corporate bank reconciliation, and other special projects as assigned.

Schedule:

8AM to 5PM, In-Office (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities: Prepare and record monthly journal entries to the general ledger and have general ledger accountability Ensure the timely reporting of monthly financial information Collaborate with corporate and field accounting and financial, planning & analysis to support overall department goals and objectives Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ensure all reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner Analyze financial statements by explaining variances from budget and prior year including to provide detailed analyses of significant variances Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with the close schedule Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and reports by department, as necessary Record daily corporate cash activity and cash application reports to ensure accuracy and consistency for reporting Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner Assist with year-end audit including to provide supporting documentation for auditors Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies and procedures Continually strengthen internal control processes and improve policies and procedures Cross training with the team and fill-in as a backup as needed Performs ad-hoc analysis and other related duties as required Minimum Qualifications/Attributes:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an corporate accountant required. Active certified public accountant is a plus. Public accounting experience is a plus. Proficient in finance, accounting, and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, and Pivot tables. Knowledge of basic cost accounting principles a plus Financial statement consolidations experience a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate details of financial information Goal-oriented to flourish in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Ability to work independently and with a team including various levels of management Be detail-oriented, have a professional attitude, take pride in accuracy of work, and be reliable Possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills Company Values & Benefits
