Director of Admissions and Marketing
The Director of Admissions and Marketing for KSOE is responsible for the oversight and strategic administration of the School's marketing, recruitment, and admissions processes. The director serves as a member of the KSOE leadership team, which informs marketing, communication, enrollment management, program planning, and strategic priorities. They oversee KSOE marketing and promotion of school-wide programs and events, including printed collateral, social media, and web presence. They develop and implement admissions and marketing strategies within KSOE. This position is responsible for results in terms of adhering to budget; delivering a superior recruitment experience; and maintaining a high level of professional engagement with campus and external constituents. The ultimate goal is to successfully promote and achieve enrollment target goals for KSOE. The KSOE Director of Admissions and Marketing is expected to lead and support KSOE's commitment to Catholic, Lasallian values including diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.Requirements
GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT:
Develop and implement an effective recruiting strategy that meets KSOE program goals and enrollment targets. Coordinate faculty and staff representatives to attend on-campus and off-campus recruiting events. Based on market research & prospect/student feedback, recommend and implement changes that will improve KSOE's competitive position. Execute recruitment efforts for KSOE academic programs; Utilize SLATE, pipeline reports, and other marketing and recruitment data to continuously drive and improve the recruiting process. Understand enrollment management and data analysis as it relates to recruitment and admissions funnel. Responsible for streamlining the admissions process from lead generation to student enrollment. Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and integrating enrollment-related market research and developing effective promotional strategies to achieve enrollment targets. Responsible for adhering to the KSOE admissions & marketing budget.CAMPUS COLLABORATIONS:
Serve as a member of the KSOE leadership team, representing KSOE admission and marketing within the school and across the SMC campus. Serve as KSOE representative on college's Enrollment Management working group. Serves as KSOE representative on college SLATE users' group; Design and implement new processes and procedures based on data. Collaborate with other units on campus to build relationships and leverage best practices (college communications, registrar, financial aid, admissions, business office, advancement, information technology, career center, centralized admissions, and slate team).MARKETING & PROMOTIONS:
Contribute to KSOE event publicity, including e-newsletters, learn events, alumni gatherings, etc.; Assist with web-content development; and support annual events for the KSOE including speaker series, community events, and KSOE sponsored events such as the Center for Environmental Literacy

program. Develop effective print, online ads, collateral, and advertising (brochures, special insert, reprints, testimonials, flyers) in coordination with the KSOE Content & Design manager and the SMC Office of Marketing & Communication to ensure website effectively markets KSOE programs. Collaborate with KSOE academic programs and centers to conduct alumni communications and events. Oversee KSOE alumni e-newsletter, communication, engagement, & outreach to alumni and external relations efforts that build and sustain the work of the school and college.TEAM LEADERSHIP AND STAFF SUPERVISION:
Lead and manage admission and marketing staff to oversee internal and external communications to all stakeholders (students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community partners), including print, web, and social media activities. Supervision of admissions and marketing team members including content & design specialist and admissions counselors. Responsible for professional development for direct reports and accountable for their performance. Serve as KSOE's lead user and ensure team member training on SLATE platform and other enrollment management and/or marketing applications.Other duties assigned.Requirements:

3-5 years of recruiting or admissions in higher education (preferably in graduate and professional program)Skills/ Abilities:
This position requires strong planning and communication skills (oral and written), and the ability to positively represent Saint Mary's College to the public at large. Excellent verbal and written skills, including public speaking skills; able to work independently and as a member of a team; high level of initiative; outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/deadlines; strong proficiency in using Windows operating systems, MS Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint), email and internet usage; experience working with databases and database management; experience working with social networking sites (ex: LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc); strong eye for detail; ability to work cooperatively and effectively with all members of a culturally diverse campus community.Demonstrated effectiveness in prospect identification, relationship building, and solicitation. Ability to translate complex concepts into compelling development proposals. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of students, faculty, staff, executives, and community leaders. Advanced project management skills, including skills to plan and implement successful events. Superior written and oral communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to articulate a compelling case for philanthropic support. Demonstrated experience mentoring and working with volunteers, faculty, and staff. Demonstrated commitment to public service education in higher education. Proficiency working with fundraising databases is desirable. Prior experience in fundraising and donor relations in postsecondary environments. Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and self-motivation. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in building community among different groups in university and community settings. Ability to effectively utilize and keep up-to-date with software packages (Microsoft Office suite is currently used), social media, and other communication technologies. Ability to effectively and creatively lead teams and manage/supervise diverse operational groups towards excellence in execution and scaling. Ability to manage complex personnel and financial issues, including developing, analyzing, and monitoring complicated budgets.OTHER:
Evening and weekend hours are required. Travel to various recruiting events in the Bay Area is also required. There are an average of 2-3 travel events per month, and an average of 4-5 evening events per month with the occasional weekend event.Salary Description:
