CCD values the ability to work effectively with students, families, faculty, instructors, and staff of diverse backgrounds.GENERAL SUMMARYThe Admission, Recruitment and Outreach Director is responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating the recruitment and admissions processes and activities for Auraria, Lowry, and the Advanced Manufacturing Center campuses as well as the High School Diploma Program. Directs the planning, execution, and evaluation of promoting the college to the public for recruitment and relationship purposes. Provides leadership in promoting the programs, engaging with prospective students, strategic planning as it relates to a recruitment plan for the campuses and college, and managing staff to ensure the department achieves enrollment goals. The Director assures exemplary services and assistance are provided to engage prospective students with the college admissions process and builds and maintains effective community partnerships with local schools, organizations, and community partners. The Director will support and collaborate on the College strategic enrollment management plan to help elevate the College’s Pathways initiatives and drive application and enrollment yield. Directs and manages information flow through various means to our prospective students and internal and external constituents. Directs the daily operations of the department, including staffing, training, and ongoing development of staff. EXAMPLE OF DUTIESPRIMARY DUTIESLeadership and ManagementDevelop and implement strategic recruitment plans to achieve enrollment goals. Oversee the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes for the High School Diploma Program. Supervise and mentor recruitment and admissions staff, ensuring professional development and high performance. Establish and maintain effective communication between the recruitment and admissions team and key internal stakeholders such as the academic advising department, the registrar’s office, financial aid, and academic affairs. Monitor and analyze enrollment trends, providing reports and recommendations to leadership.Student Recruitment and OutreachDetermine best practices and write, implement, and maintain a recruitment plan that reflects College-wide priorities of student outreach and engagement. Comply with the System office regarding recruitment systems and policies and work closely with the Office of Registration & Records to determine standard operating procedures. Develop innovative recruiting strategies for new prospects and students who have stopped out. Manage strategy, direct activities, and evaluate outcomes of Admissions, Recruitment, and Outreach efforts based on best practices through national leading organizations.Data and ComplianceUtilize student information systems and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms to manage applicant data and track recruitment efforts. Pull, analyze, evaluate, and make suggestions on data for applications, enrollment conversions, and trends and report out to CCD leadership frequently.Onboarding, Belonging, and Student SuccessSupport CCD as a Guided Pathways College and participate in pathway initiatives with relation to onboarding and belonging in the student experience and culture. Participate in the creation and implementation of retention strategies that focus on student engagement and success.Campus and Community PartnershipsWork with student services and academic support teams to ensure that students in the High School Diploma Program receive appropriate support.
