Leading a team of direct and matrixed compensation & benefits professionals, the
Senior Director, Executive Compensation & Total Rewards
will develop, implement, and evaluate global compensation policies and programs in support of company objectives and local practices with a focus on Executive compensation and benefits programs.Qualifications
The
Senior Director, Executive Compensation & Total Rewards
will have leadership responsibility over the following functional areas:Compensation Strategy and Design:
Deep familiarity with executive compensation strategies, including equity programs.Partner with Light & Wonder’s Executive Compensation Consultants to review market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and approve executive compensation plans and modifications.
Project Management:
Oversee the administration of executive compensation programs, including salary planning, incentive plan administration, and equity award processes.Update on progress of annual results and performance-based RSUs.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including SEC reporting and disclosure requirements.Manage the annual compensation review process for executives.
Governance and Compliance:
Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, including executive compensation proposals and analysis.Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements, including working with Legal to complete the proxy.Stay informed about trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in executive compensation.
Americas Benefits Programs Delivery & Strategy:
Develop benefits programs (Americas) & global mobility programs & policies aligned with Light & Wonder’s talent attraction & retention strategies.Establish and maintain a system of control reports that will enable top executive management & other appropriate management levels to evaluate the effectiveness of key benefit and global mobility plans and practices.Consult with outside benefits broker and key vendors on health care plan administration/programs, retirement savings plan administration, global mobility programs, etc.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Develop clear and effective communication strategies for executive compensation programs.Serve as a subject matter expert to executives, HR partners, and the Compensation Committee.Provide guidance and support to HR and finance teams on compensation-related matters.
Performance Management and Analysis:
Evaluate the effectiveness of executive compensation programs in driving performance and achieving business goals.Conduct pay-for-performance analyses and ensure alignment with the company's performance metrics.Provide insights and recommendations based on data and trends.
Ideal ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in executive compensation, with at least 4 years working in a publicly traded company environment.Key Requirements Include:Extensive experience in executive compensation, with a solid understanding of compensation principles and best practices.Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders and Board members.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance standards related to executive compensation.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, and finance.Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.Other key characteristics: The successful Executive Compensation Director will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of executive compensation principles and best practices.
