In this position, we are looking for candidates that can direct and drive strategic, integrated plans that put Apple’s products, services and values at the heart of culture by collaborating with authentic, influential people, to reach new audiences, to tell stories we could not tell on our own. This role will play a senior role in Buzz efforts globally in partnership with local in-country teams, and report to the Head of Buzz Marketing.DescriptionBuzz Marketing works closely with multiple areas of the business like Product Marketing, PR, Marcom, Apple TV+, Apple Music, among others, to create strategic, integrated plans that are unique to Apple, engaging high-visibility people and organizations to drive the development and execution of regional culture-focused projects and initiatives (e.g. film, music, sport, fashion, the arts).In this role you will:Work closely with communications leaders and teams worldwide to direct, develop and drive strategic plans and programs to work with cultural creators, so they are inspired to use Apple products and build local and regional brand affinity.Oversee and integrate multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they are produced on strategy, on time, in line with Apple standards.Work on and contribute to the annual global marketing plan, leveraging deep understanding of culture, emerging trends and opinion leaders to best set up Apple for success across multiple markets.Build and maintain relationships with high-profile Apple users which could be directors, actors, artists, musicians, music producers, athletes, designers and institutions. Determine which relationships have the most potential and then find ways to maximize benefit to all.Minimum Qualifications10+ years of experience working in a similar capacity, or in roles that deal directly with celebrities and influencers.Preferred QualificationsConfidence to engage at the highest level of influence and speaking to talent and internal executives.Understanding of popular culture and a knowledge of a wide range of cultural touch points.Strong knowledge base and personal use of Apple products and software.Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships and establish business partnerships.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced, and time-critical environment.Comfortable with high volumes of information and quickly breaking down what action needs to be taken.Direct experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information with integrity.Excellent communication and written skills.At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,100 and $255,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
