The qualified candidate will interact directly with current and potential customers to understand their requirements and guide development efforts to meet their needs.The position may require occasional travel. You will have significant opportunities for career growth in the development of scientific and mathematical software applications and algorithms.Because this role involves a combination of independent and collaborative work, this position can be conducted 100% remotely with occasional travel.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a computer-related field6 years of software design, code, and test experienceHold an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearanceStrong software architecture, design, and development experience using C and JavaSoftware development, coding, and debugging experience across the entire development lifecycleExperience with version control systems, such as GitExperience with Agile development and issue tracking systems, such as JIRAExperience with software build tools, such as Ant, Maven, or GradleStrong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholdersExperience with Cloud technologies and DevSecOps tools such as Rancher, Kubernetes, Argo CD, Argo Workflow, Helm, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, Chef, Service MeshExperience with team leadership and mentoring rolesPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Mission planning domain and route finding algorithm developmentExperience with any of distributed systems or Military systems or simulationsExperience with modeling and simulation softwarePay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Employee Benefits
