The Director of Corporate Accounting is a member of the finance and accounting team and reports to CFO with responsibility for oversight of all accounting and financial reporting functions.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Create and maintain regular Cash flow statement and projections.Oversee treasury management & bank account administration including coordinating with the company's payment automation process.Manage, monitor and review the month end accounting close process to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.Analyze and review the month end consolidation and the monthly management reports for accuracy.Perform monthly analysis and review of all entities’ general ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, consolidated financial statements and operational metrics for accuracy and completeness.Identify continuous operational efficiency improvement opportunities and partner across teams to propose and implement solutions.Establish, implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting.Assist with developing and applying the proper accounting treatment for complex and/or unusual transactions.Maintain debt schedule and prepare financial reports and analyses requested by financial institutions.Develop, implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.Support on all matters related to property tax.Prepare documentation required for timely completion of annual review/audit process by third party accounting firm.Provide all information required for the preparation of annual tax return and prepare tax provisions.Analyze and review fixed assets and depreciation.Manage equipment leases and buyouts.Develop and document standard financial/accounting processes.Determine accounting policies and procedures by researching and interpreting accounting guidance.Provide support on special projects assigned.WHAT WE NEED:Bachelor’s degree in accounting and minimum 10 years of experience in a corporate accounting environment.Certified Public Accountant is required.Big Four or National Firm accounting experience is preferred.Knowledge of GAAP and experience in consolidated financial reporting.Hotel accounting and real estate accounting experience is a plus.Conscientious, initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direction.Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills.Excellent communication and problem solving skills.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite projects, particularly advance Excel skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities; solid time management skills and organized – ability to meet assigned deadlines.Knowledge of Great Plains, Management Reporter, UKG, D365 and Profit Sword is a plus.High attention to details.WHAT WE OFFER:Exercise/Gym DiscountsWeight Mgmt./Healthy Eating ProgramsNursing Mothers ProgramsLife Insurance / Accidental Death & DismembermentAccident Insurance / Critical Illness Insurance / Hospital InsuranceLong-Term Disability & Short-Term Disability401k - with a match!Financial CoachingDiscount Programs - travel & lifestyle / commuterEducation AssistanceTeam Building Activities (onsite/off-site)Employee Assistance ProgramsMental Health Support ToolsHoliday pay - 8 days! / Competitive Vacation Time / Sick PayStanford Hotels Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
