We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Westerville, Ohio.
Job Purpose:
In this role, you will have a high volume interaction with landlords, Station Managers, and internal business unit groups to ensure timely and accurate accounts payables, invoices, account reconciliations, IFRS16 compliance, lease agreement interpretation & reporting of DHL account activities in accordance with accounting principles and corporate policies. additional tasks and accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Your tasks:
Perform general ledger journal entries timely and accurately
Prepare monthly and one-time rent closing.
Prepare Intercompany rent export
Monitor CREA Landlord mailbox & process requests
Perform vendor set up & vendor record maintenance
General ledger & cost center maintenance
Manage security deposits
Process OPEX estimates & end of year reconciliations (desktop audits)
Process MTM & Holdover updates
Maintain savings & avoidance reporting
Calculate & process CPI increases
Prepare budget reporting
Monitor tax appeal program
Carbon accounting reporting
Give support to the team members in accounting process
Ensure monthly reports & reporting tools are up to date
Support the analytical reviews
Maintain and validate documentation: SOP's, job aids, process flows, contingency plans and Period-end timetables.
Ensure the financial accounts (balance sheets, P&L and Notes) are kept in line with IFRS16, LEAP Coordinators, Deutsche Post DHL policy and guidelines, and the DHL Regional Business Unit Operating Model.
Support the audit process (internal and external) in the most efficient way
Maintain and validate documentation: SOP's, job aids, process flows, contingency plans and Period-end timetables.
Additional tasks/projects may vary according with annual KPI’s & customer centricity feedback.
Your profile:
Technical degree in Accounting or advanced Degree student
Previous experience in similar roles (2-3 years)
English Proficiency Intermediate (be able to read & communicate)
Advanced Excel
Experience in SAP, Oracle, JBA, Bizagi, Brasware, CoStar, Planon would be a plus
