Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities.The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12Call-Ins: Expected to make up the day or the shift will be added at the end of the contract.Weekends: Expected to work every other week per contract. Consecutive weekends may be needed.Charge coverage: Unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.Unit Specific Information
3 North is a medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative care of colorectal surgery patients.We do care for patients who need negative-airflow rooms, so candidates must be fit-tested for an N95 mask or trained on how to use a PAPR device for care of these patients.Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted; however, medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
