Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDSIU Health is now offering charge pay.First Time Travelers AcceptedShift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest needFloating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist HospitalsStaffing Ratios: 1:4Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses.
