This role is primarily responsible for complex domestic tax matters for company clients. This position is open to candidates with a strong tax foundation in any area. To qualify for this opportunity, the candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Tax. Preference is given to candidates with an active CPA license and previous public accounting experience.
Core ResponsibilitiesPerforms technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.Serves as a subject matter expert in discipline or industry.Education and Qualifications
Bachelors Degree.CPA license is a plus.Must successfully pass a background check.Must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time.Essential Functions
Performs all tasks related to client service and sees that assignments are accomplished within budgeted time.Assumes full responsibility for larger tax returns and delegates to the various tax preparers as deemed necessary.Build and maintain good client relationships.Experience
Minimum ten years of experience in public accounting.Extensive experience reviewing Individual, corporate, and Partnership tax returns.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong skills and experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, and QuickBooks.Experience with CCH Pro FX tax software.Demonstrates excellence in most advanced technical skills.Keep current on applicable professional standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Working Conditions
Ability to work overtime and weekend hours during peak busy periods to meet deadlines and partner and client expectations.Health
