SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for a Schooldude Specialist who can provide Administrative Support to the Group Leaders and the Facilities Field Manager, by working with the Schooldude application system to handle work orders and projects. Also performs Administrative duties that require a comprehensive knowledge of the School system and operations. WHAT YOU'LL DO: The following outlines what your core duties and responsibilities will be for this position and provides a sample overview of what your day-to-day may look like. Core Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Works with Group Leaders to prioritize work orders Works with Group Leaders to track and respond to all work orders that come in. Enter work orders when emergency calls come through regarding an emergency. Enter data for boiler permits in system. Purge old work orders Assist district employees Compiles and organizes information for reports requiring knowledge of the school's systems Composes and types of routine correspondence. Organizes and maintains file system and files correspondence and other records. Greets, screens, and directs visitors Working Knowledge of Kronos (Payroll) and School Dude (Work Order Program). Assist Group Leaders with Kronos as needed. Answers phones: routes call and takes messages; listens to and acts on complaints; obtains or provides routine information over the phone; places call for supervisor. Conducts research, and compiles and types of statistical reports. Orientation for new hires for FMD. Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes. Communicate with School Police for Emergency situations. Other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU'll BRING: SKILLS AND MINDSETS As an ideal candidate for this role, you will be able to achieve the following: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Highschool Diploma, an or equivalent GED. Two to five years of progressively responsible work experience in the areas of general office and secretarial work and bookkeeping. Supervisory experience is necessary.
