Job Title: Cabinet MakerJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker with the ability to read prints, operate woodworking machinery, and use hand and power tools. You will be building cabinets for organs, requiring a strong attention to detail and proficiency in using various cutting equipment to shape and form wood. This role involves matching materials for wood species, color, grain, and texture, and setting up and operating woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, planers, and shapers to cut and shape parts from wood stock.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints.Operate woodworking machinery and use hand and power tools.Build cabinets for organs with a strong attention to detail.Match materials for wood species, color, grain, and texture.Set up and operate machines such as power saws, jointers, planers, and shapers.Trim component parts of joints to ensure a snug fit using planes, chisels, or wood files.Bore holes for screws or dowels using hand tools or a boring machine.Glue, fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies together using clamps or a clamping machine.Drive screws or other fasteners into joints to reinforce them.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macungie, Pennsylvania.Contact Aerotek Manager Jamyl!About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
