Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step Down - Cardiac Surgery Job Duration: 13 weeks (option to extend up to 24 weeks) Shift: Rotating shifts; Night 3x12-hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and Day 3x12-hour (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of 18 months of recent Cardiac Step Down experience. Progressive Care Unit/Progressive care experience preferred but not required. Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license. Certifications: BLS & ACLS, NIH required. Must-Have: - Minimum 18 months of recent Cardiac Step Down experience- PCU/Progressive care experience preferred- Minimum 18 months permanent experience in the specialty- Permanent Ohio license or compact state license- BLS & ACLS, NIH certifications Job Description: - Rotating shifts typically consist of 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights- Engage in ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with an acceptable score required- Work at least every other holiday- Participate in orientation spanning 20 hours - Exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements for nurses and CSTs- Complete onsite fingerprinting and badging prior to the start date- Comply with BCI/FBI prints requirement within a specified timeframe - Facility has a strict no-call policy
